SCSC -- Curriculum

We offer Year 7 - 10 students a broad curriculum covering the eight required Key Learning Areas (KLAs) of the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Victoria.

These eight KLAs are English, Mathematics, Science, SOSE (Studies of Society and Environment), Technology (Information, Wood/Metal and Food), PE/Health, The Arts and LOTE. Students can also choose from various elective subjects and compete in a range of sports.

We are currently working on implementing the new VELS (Victorian Essential Learning Standards) into the Year 7 - 10 curriculum.

At Year 11 and 12 offerings vary from year to year, depending on student needs and demands. We offer up to 20 VCE and VET subjects across the two year levels, with other subjects additionally being made available via Distance Education with staff support. Download our VCE Handbooks here...

We aim to provide students with a challenging and comprehensive curriculum, in an environment where each student is cared for and treated as an individual.
